need help finding SMS in a chat format

Ok so i have been trying to find a nice program that makes your text messages look like chat. Many other smartphones do this like the treo and blackberry...
I have tried 3 programs and have not had very good luck..
ThreadSMS - didnt work like it said (sucks that i paid $15 for it)
Conversation - didnt even open up after it was installed on my n95 8gb, plus has known issues with the 8gb for some reason
SMS chat - was garbage...
Anyone know of any other good sms chat applications?
